Job Summary
Job Description
- Supervise/monitor the contractors work to ensure that the work is carried out in compliance with the design intent specification and quality of works required under the terms of the contract.
- Attend site progress meetings/technical meetings/consultants meetings.
- Ensure timely submissions of shop drawings technical submittals samples etc. by the sub-contractors.
- Check and review all work/shop drawings technical submittals and samples etc. submitted by the contractors.
- Monitor the progress of work on site verify the contractors progress report and present the report to the PM in such format that the progress payment claim by the contractor can be easily evaluated.
- Verify the contractors progress payment claim in terms of work done and materials/equipment delivered and stored at site
Job Requirements
- Minimum qualification of recognized Diploma in Civil/ Structural Engineering
- Registered Resident Technical Officer (RTO) with the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES) and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
- Minimum 8 years (RTO) experience in supervision of structural and architectural works for preferably local Institution/Commercial developments with strong knowledge of bored piling structural steel reinforced concrete construction and architectural works
- Familiar with local codes and regulations
