Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation maintenance and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

HybridThis role is contributing to the
Procurement team in EUOPC (European Operation Center). The main stakeholders are part of Process Industries Switzerland within ABBs Process Automation Business Area .
You will be mainly accountable for:
- PR to PO (Direct & Indirect in SAP) and RFQ
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Operating Procedures (SOP)/Internal Policies/project requirements) in terms of content quality delivery sustainability and price.
- Open order management : obtain and process order confirmations follow-up on missing goods receipts and on time delivery. Monitor and track supplier performance to purchase order requirements.
- Invoice resolution and contact with AP.
- Active participation in recurring meetings related to the operations.
Qualifications for the role - At least 2 years of experience in Procurement related position/ Supplier Qualification will be a plus.
- Proficient in business English (C1) required with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on experience working with SAP (purchasing module)/Word/Excel/SharePoint
- Hands-on experience working with SAP Ariba would be an advantage.
- Soft skills: proactive appreciate teamwork rigor and understanding of processes.
- Experience with Export Control (documentation trade compliance customs regulations) would be a great asset.
- Advanced Excel skills would be a plus
