Job Summary
Cordia Resources is seeking an Accountant. This role will play a key part in supporting month-end reconciliations accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented organized and eager to contribute to the success of the finance team.
Responsibilities:
Perform monthly account reconciliations and assist with the month-end close process
Support accounts payable including invoice processing and vendor management
Support accounts receivable including billing collections and cash applications
Assist with preparing journal entries and supporting documentation
Ensure compliance with internal controls policies and procedures
Collaborate with team members on special projects and audits as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required
3 years of accounting experience preferred
Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
