Job Summary

Responsibilities

PeopleTec is currently seeking a FMS Logistics Analystto support our Huntsville AL location.

The Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Logistics Analyst will be an integral part of the Project Management Office (PMO) within PEO Missiles and Space (PEO MS). The candidate will support the International Program Manager by managing and coordinating international logistics programs involving foreign military sales to partner nations.

Duties:

  • Case Management and Documentation:
    • Develop coordinate and control assigned international logistics programs.
    • Prepare Letters of Request (LORs) and Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) as well as memoranda of understanding planning and budget estimates for proposed cases.
    • Input data into the Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS) for new cases amendments and modifications as required.
  • Program Coordination and Integration:
    • Provide case line development for FMS cases across multiple organizations to support all aspects of the development planning coordination and implementation of the FMS Program.
    • Integrate and coordinate various logistics functions throughout the life cycle of weapon systems/equipment.
    • Maintain contract and working relationships with AMCOM organizational elements.
  • Logistics and Supply Management:
    • Perform tasks associated with the maintenance of supply systems readiness and management of material and equipment.
    • Support international logistics program cost databases for use in development and validation.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
    • Assure coordination of completed documentation with applicable organizations including SAMD USASAC and higher headquarters staff.
    • Participate in planning phases for Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) ensuring the partner receives the most current and vital information regarding their weapon system and current configuration.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Assist with the coordination of OCONUS events to ensure travelers have proper base access and visit requests in place.
    • Participate in planning phases for PMRs including providing meeting location and hotel recommendations tracking attendees and ensuring valid visit requests are in place.
  • Customer Interaction and Problem Solving:
    • Participate in program management reviews and international logistics program presentations to foreign government representatives both CONUS and OCONUS.
    • Anticipate and analyze potential problem areas in international logistics programs providing guidance for the appropriate utilization of foreign customer funds.
    • Brief USG and FMS General Officer-level personnel on program status including issues action item responses projected schedules and financials.
  • Amendments and Technical Reviews:
    • Develop amendments to FMS cases ensuring all cases are properly executed according to Security Assistance procedures methods regulations policies and programs.
    • Conduct technical LOR reviews with the Program Office and Prime Contractors to ensure the LOR is executable and resource requirements can be met.
    • Write LOAs using the guidelines established in the Security Assistance Management Manual and collaborate with other FMS stakeholders to complete FMS case requirements.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Articulate effectively to all levels of leadership any issues and provide potential solutions.
    • Ensure the partner receives the most current and vital information regarding their weapon system and current configuration.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

  • At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. Additional education may be substituted for years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) Stgrategic Assistance Initiatives and Army concepts principles and policies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Travel: 15-15%
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in any related field
