Sproughton CE Primary Schoolare looking to appoint a Year 3 and 4 Class Teacherto plan deliver and assess a broad and balanced curriculum for pupils in Years 3 and 4 fostering a safe supportive and stimulating learning environment that promotes progress attainment and personal development.
You will uphold the schools values and policies maintain positive behaviour and work in partnership with colleagues parents and carers to ensure the wellbeing and success of all pupils throughout the maternity cover period.
As a Class Teacher you will:
- plan and teach well-structured lessons to Year 3 and 4 following the schools plans curriculum and schemes of work
- assess monitor record and report on the learning needs progress and achievements of assigned pupils making accurate and productive use of assessment
- adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupils
- set high expectations which inspire motivate and challenge pupils
- promote good progress for all and high outcomes in end of term tests
- demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher as set out in the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document (pdf).

You will need to be:
- a passionate qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with recent successful teaching experience in primary education
- a positive solution-focused professional who is resilient kind and a team player
- a role model who supports our Christian ethos and helps pupils to let their light shine.
