About the Role:
As the Director International Finance CoE you will join the Oracle Financial Systems Center of Excellence (CoE) responsible for managing and evolving the Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications. This role will be an international extension of our US-based CoE in New Jersey providing more responsive support to international stakeholders in Europe Asia and Australia while enhancing global collaboration and laying the foundation for a scalable follow the sun support model.
You will work closely with the US team to deliver consistent ERP support address region-specific needs and ensure alignment with global financial processes. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively and independently in a cross-border global environment while driving priorities of the US Corporate Home Office.
Role & Responsibilities
Regional ERP Support
Serve as the primary ERP and accounting support contact for local Finance teams in Europe Asia and Australia while ensuring local efforts are aligned to corporate objectives
Troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues in collaboration with the Home Office CoE team in New Jersey and IT partners around the world
Assist with testing and deployment of ERP related system enhancements and upgrades affecting local finance teams
Global Collaboration & Alignment
Collaborate with the CoE to resolve issues implement enhancements and support global close activities including local integration support
Ensure regional processes align with global policies compliance requirements and best practices and share insights on regional-specific requirements
Participate in global ERP governance and contribute to the documentation of standardized processes across regions
Process Improvement & CoE Development
Identify regional process needs and support localization efforts by documenting processes sharing knowledge and building regional expertise
Contribute to building the foundation for a fully aligned international CoE ensuring scalable global support coverage across regions
Support regional training and change management activities for new ERP features integrations and process changes
Work Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience providing financial systems support and/or financial close activities across global organizations
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance MIS or related field
Strong understanding of accounting processes and controls
Familiarity with local accounting policies including IFRS a plus
Experience in the insurance/reinsurance or relevant financial industry is preferred
Ability to work independently while driving corporate objectives across multiple local finance offices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across time zones and cultures
Self starter with strong problem solving and analytical abilities
