SUMMARY
The Coordinator Communications researches and writes a variety of internal communications out to the organizations retail operations via channels including email store portal phone and communication cascades. Ensures communications are clear concise and accurate and communications are executed via appropriate channels in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews and edits communications submitted by other departments and follows up with communications contributors on outstanding assignments.
- Responds to requests and submits reports to
- Reviews communications calendar and open issues with other departments and Communications Manager to align.
- Maintains and improves the functionality of our organizations internal reference documents such as contact lists operational calendars and other administrative elements.
- Finds opportunities and suggests information that should be presented to associates to ensure associates are always engaged in company initiatives.
- Stays abreast of industry trends and makes recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices.
- Protects companys assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Communications Marketing or Business or equivalent experience.
- Zero - one year of related experience.
- One - two years of experience in a sneaker / street wear retail industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with communications ethics and best practices.
- Copywriting experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with multiple modes of communication such as email social media training formats etc.
- Familiarity with marketing and project management tools such as the Microsoft Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Reasoning ability and problem-solving mindset.
