About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. You will provide hands-on assistance guidance and instruction-helping people achieve their personal goals gain independence and become active members of their communities.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting individuals with daily living skills and personal goals
Providing mentorship encouragement and skill-building opportunities
Supporting community involvement and inclusion
Promoting independence safety and well-being
Ideal Candidate:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Age: 18 years or older
License: Valid New York State drivers license (required)
Qualities: Compassionate reliable and eager to make a difference
Passion: Dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
