Position Summary:
Under the direction of an RN the LPN or LVN contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. Assists RN with development of plan of care. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
- Must have an active AZ or Compact LPN or LVN License.
- AHA BLS required. If you have other than AHA you will have 30 days from your date of hire to obtain your AHA BLS.
- NIH Stroke Scale assigned and completed within 30 days of hire.
