Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Educator Acute Care to support the professional development and clinical competency of bedside nurses. The Clinical Educator plays a critical role as an educator change agent facilitator consultant and researcher fostering empowerment through knowledge and skills to achieve excellence in evidence-based nursing practice.
Responsibilities:
- Develop implement and evaluate educational programs for nursing staff across acute care settings.
- Support bedside nurses in enhancing professional competence and clinical skills.
- Serve as a resource for evidence-based practice clinical guidelines and professional development.
- Facilitate workshops training sessions and simulation exercises (high- and low-fidelity) as needed.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to identify learning needs and design educational interventions.
- Act as a change agent to improve patient care outcomes and nursing performance.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Nursing.

Masters Degree in Nursing or actively enrolled in a program with
projected completion within 18 months of hire. -
Valid Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire.

National Provider BLS (Basic Life Support) certification upon hire.
- Minimum of 3 years of related clinical experience in the area of specialty.

Knowledge and experience in adult education and course development.
Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in relevant nursing specialty.

Previous formal educator experience.

Leadership experience in a nursing or healthcare setting.

Experience with clinical simulation (high- and low-fidelity).
