Head of Finance / Financial Analyst

Location: Lerma / Mexico City area (face-to-face weekly preferred)
Languages: Spanish & English (fluent written and spoken)
Travel: Occasional domestic/international travel as needed

About the Role

This role will support the financial oversight and analysis for a portfolio of companies including real estate development global meat trading and livestock trading/consulting. The candidate will work closely with leadership in Mexico and the U.S. helping drive financial planning analysis reporting and strategy across multiple jurisdictions (Mexico / USA / Canada).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning budgeting and forecasting across multiple business units

• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports variance analyses and KPI tracking

• Perform detailed financial modeling (e.g. scenario analysis profitability analyses cash flow forecasting)

• Support strategic planning (e.g. new investments land development trading deals)

• Monitor and analyze financial performance across entities identifying opportunities for cost optimization margin improvement and risk mitigation

• Collaborate closely with operations trading logistics and real estate teams to ensure alignment of financial metrics and business objectives

• Assist with consolidation of financials across entities and prepare management dashboards

• Coordinate with external auditors tax advisors and legal teams as needed

• Ensure compliance with local GAAP and cross-border tax/regulatory/reporting requirements (Mexico U.S. Canada)

• Ad hoc financial analysis and special projects (e.g. new deal assessments capital allocation currency exposure)

• Support integration of financial systems ERP improvements and process optimization

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field (advanced degree or certification such as CFA / CPA / CMA is a plus)

• Minimum of 5 years of financial planning analysis or accounting experience in multi-entity / multinational environment

• Strong financial modeling forecasting and Excel skills

• Solid understanding of corporate finance P&L balance sheet and cash flow management

• Familiarity with cross-border financial operations tax and regulatory compliance (Mexico / U.S. / Canada)

• Experience with ERP/financial software systems (e.g. SAP Oracle NetSuite Microsoft Dynamics etc.)

• Excellent communication skills (analytical reporting as well as executive-level summary)

• Proactive detail-oriented able to identify and solve business challenges independently

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams with both U.S. and Mexico-based stakeholders

• Preference for candidate located near Lerma / Mexico City for weekly in-person alignment
