Job Summary
Summary/Objective:-
The Mechanical Designer position designs mechanical systems for residential and commercial buildings.
Essential Job Functions:-

- Design from conceptual design phase through construction.
- Attend meetings with clients and take diligent notes.
- Attend job site walks to observe existing conditions and construction progress.
- Basis of design writing.
- Specification writing.
- Understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of the codes & standards
- Ability to read construction documents.
- Ability to design mechanical systems
- Ability to design plumbing systems
- Ability to perform Mechanical Engineering Calculations
- Provide responses to Requests for Information (RFIs)
- Provide Submittal reviews
- Performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives.
- Ability to climb ladders and survey construction sites.
- And all other tasks assigned.

- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Microsoft Windows Outlook Word & Excel
- Navisworks or similar clash detection design tool
- MEP Fabrication
- Internet Browser
Required Education and Experience:-
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent 10 years of experience
