Role Summary:
Heritage Imaging is seeking a Field Service Engineer with hands-on experience in GE MRI systems to support our technical operations across Oregon and Washington. This role involves travel to multiple sites and requires a professional who is comfortable working independently in a field-based environment.
Position Overview
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installation troubleshooting and maintenance of mobile and fixed-site MRI systems with an emphasis on GE equipment. Work may also include mechanical support for mobile platforms and coordination with internal teams to maintain system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Install configure and test MRI systems and related components
- Diagnose and repair technical issues with GE MRI equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to maximize performance and uptime
- Assist with service needs on mobile units including trailer or lift-gate components
- Document service activities accurately and provide status updates to the service team
- Partner with clients and colleagues to reduce system downtime
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience servicing GE MRI systems
- Associate degree in electronics biomedical engineering or related technical field (bachelors preferred)
- Familiarity with medical imaging software/hardware and service environments
- Proficiency with computers networking and Microsoft Office
- Ability to interpret technical diagrams schematics and manuals
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid drivers license and ability to travel regularly
- Compliance with health safety drug screening and background requirements
