Location: Springfield OH
Salary: $85000 $90000 Bonus Benefits

Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing exp req) Description
Our client in the industrial manufacturing industry is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Springfield this role you will be responsible for engineering custom equipment used in the metal casting industry from concept to installation. You will work closely with customers vendors and internal teams to design develop and optimize high-quality equipment tailored to specific client needs.
Ideal candidates will have strong 3D modeling and AutoCAD skills project management experience and a background in capital equipment or foundry operations. To succeed in this role you must thrive in a dynamic project-based environment where no two days are the same. You should enjoy balancing design work with hands-on problem solving and customer engagement. Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing exp req) Responsibilities
Design custom equipment using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Source parts and create bill of materials using ERP software
Perform structural analysis using SolidWorks FEA
Support production during equipment assembly on the shop floor
Lead projects from engineering to installation and commissioning
Collaborate with customers for project updates and technical support
Conduct engineering studies and failure effects analyses
Refine and standardize product lines through R&D
Provide technical support for sales and service teams
Represent the company professionally with customers and vendors
Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing exp req) Qualifications
3 years of mechanical engineering experience required
3 years of Manufacturing experience required
3D modeling software experience required
ERP systems experience required
