Nursery Nurse
Nuffield Health Nuneaton FWC Childcare Permanant Full time
26547.60 per annum
40 hours per week typically 4 days working 7.30-6 with a day off per week.
Our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery is seeking a Nursery Nurse to be based at our Nuneaton Fitness and Wellbeing Club.
As a Nursery Nurse you will be part of a team who offer full day care sessional care plus a Pre-School for children aged from 3 months to 5 years.
Joining the team as a Nursery Practitioner youll provide care and education while promoting health and helping children achieve the best possible start in life. We are Ofsted registered and follow the Early Years Foundation Stage. We offer a unique rage of wellbeing focused care for children including swimming lessons for our over 3s making this a truly unique opportunity.
If the smile of a job well done is important to you joining us as a Nursery Practitioner will give you the chance to learn by working with some of the best. You are to be qualified to at least level 3 in childcare studies and have experience to NVQ Level 3 or NNEB. Its your passion for nursery nursing that really sets you apart and means youll fit right in with us.
Responsibilities of a Nursery practitioner:
Provide high quality care and education while promoting health and wellbeing.
Help children achieve the best possible start in life.
To ensure learning is linked to the childs development.
To be able to plan for age appropriate activities.
To be able to communicate with Parents/Carers and other external professionals.
Our Ideal Nursery Practitioner:
Will be qualified to a NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies or equivalent.
Have experience in a Nursery setting and have work with children.
Preferred paediatric first aid qualifications.
All candidate will require an enhanced DBS.
