At Fleetwood Hall Care Home a proud part of the Sandstone Care Group we are searching for a compassionate and committed Care Practitioner to join our family. Located near the stunning Lancashire coast our newly refurbished 62-bed home offers a modern welcoming and supportive environment for both our residents and team members.
We strive to provide top-tier person-centered care in a friendly and personalized setting. Our team collaborates closely to address each resident’s unique needs interests and preferences ensuring they live an enriched and meaningful life.
As a Care Practitioner your role will include:
- Assist residents with personal care meals and daily routines to promote comfort and well-being.
- Conduct regular safety and welfare checks on all residents throughout the shift.
- Accurately document and update care records reports and observations in line with company policies.
- Respond promptly to residents’ needs including emergencies or changes in health status.
- Support and mentor new or less-experienced team members during the day shift.
- Help maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment including performing light housekeeping tasks as required.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and participate in smooth handovers to ensure continuity of care.

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’

- A caring and positive attitude
- Genuine interest in health and social care (previous experience is beneficial but not essential)
- Ability to work independently during night hours while staying alert and responsive
- Flexibility to work shifts as required
