About the opportunity
The Operations Manager is critical to TIAs success providing leadership to the state-wide technical team and ensuring the efficient safe and professional delivery of research and teaching infrastructure and programs. The role manages TIAs extensive field sites laboratories equipment and static infrastructure and leads risk management to ensure compliance with University Tasmanian and Australian regulations.
This position requires a proactive solutions-focused leader with strong stakeholder engagement skills operational planning experience and the ability to manage budgets and competing priorities. The Operations Manager fosters a culture of safety service excellence and continuous improvement in support of TIAs strategic goals.

Salary details
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 8 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $152033 comprising base salary within the range of $114282 to $129943 plus 17% superannuation.
