Job Description

Summary

The Area Account Manager (AAM) is a critical outside sales role responsible for driving new business development and establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers (President VP of Sales Sales Manager Sales and Operations staff) within the assigned territory (Western Canada - Vancouver Calgary Edmonton or Winnipeg).Under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager and Regional Sales Director the AAM will manage the entire sales process from prospecting through close. This role requires in-depth knowledge of Brivos comprehensive portfolio of solutions as well as a general understanding of integrated components and systems such as Multifamily applications Visitor Management Elevator Control IP video and wireless locks.

Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned territory; prospect onboard cultivate and grow new dealers
  • Maintain good communication both verbal and written with inside and field resources to facilitate sales growth in Brivos independent and national dealer channels
  • Build understanding of the Brivo security platform including supported devices and integrations and effectively demonstrate the capabilities to prospects
  • Respond to customer requests for information promptly
  • Provide system sales and product training for system integrators
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and update CRM with all relevant information
  • This role requires 70%travel within the assigned territory with occasional travel outside for business purposes such as conventions sales meetings and other sales-related activities
Qualifications
  • 2 years of sales experience preferably within the security industry SaaS software sales or information security with experience selling in a defined territory
  • Bachelors degree and/or directly related sales experience
  • Proven direct channel field sales experience (this is not an overlay or inside sales position)
  • Demonstrated track record of prospecting qualifying recruiting and supporting new dealer opportunities
  • Exhibit self-confidence energy and enthusiasm in a professional manner
  • Present ideas expectations and information concisely and in a well-organized way
  • Demonstrated ability tomeet and exceed sales quotas
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce) Google Apps (Docs Sheets Slides etc.) and other business and AI tools
  • Resides in the assigned territory preferably near a major airport as there will be heavy travel (up to 75%) throughout the region as well as travel to industry trade shows customer events and internal meetings
The compensation package for this full-time position includes a base salary range of $100000 - $110000 CAD (OTE $150000 - $170000 CAD).
