Qualifications:

  1. Must be licensed with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education ELA and History 9-12
  2. SEI Endorsement required
  3. Must hold a bachelors degree or higher.

General Duties:

Guides andevaluatesthe learning experience of the students in her/his classesandaccepts responsibility for activities ofstudentswithin her/his purview within the school building oron the school grounds.

Specific Duties:

  • Instructs to the best of her/hisability
  • Participatesin faculty meetings and workshops
  • Provides whennecessaryinstructionalhelp outsidethe regularstudent day within bounds established bythecollectivebargainingagreement
  • Participates in curriculum planning and professional development activities
  • Prepares records and reportsas
  • Providesforthe careandprotection of school property
  • Keeps recordsandall bookssuppliesandequipment in her/his classroom
  • Acceptsinstructionalandnon-instructionalassignmentsasprovided forin the collectivebargainingagreement
  • Executes SchoolCommitteepolicy
