Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborates with Managers Sr Director the organizations content experts executive sponsors and medical staff leaders to develop an effective continuous readiness infrastructure that ensures the Program and organizational goals are sustained.
  • Explores opportunities for expanding and standardizing continual readiness initiatives throughout the Lurie Childrens enterprise.
  • Supports the ongoing evaluation planning and support of the continuous readiness infrastructure and processes to ensure accreditation by deemed status accrediting organizations such as The Joint Commission as well as other regulatory accreditation certifications and applicable organizational licenses.
  • Assists with the development and implementation of initiatives to evaluate and monitor compliance with regulatory standards through ongoing organizational assessment i.e. tracers mock surveys and measurement data.
  • Identifies regulatory vulnerabilities and determines when significance of vulnerabilities warrants bringing to the attention of the Director and other organizational leaders.
  • Partners with regulatory content experts to identify risk areas and support development implementation and monitoring of regulatory improvement processes.
  • Leads resolution initiatives for complex accreditation and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Serve as an organizational resource and leader in accreditation and regulation.
  • Supports the planning and coordination of the accreditation and/or regulatory survey.
  • Other job functions as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Associate degree required. Bachelors degree in a related field a plus.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working in the healthcare industry.
  • Proficient in communicating and collaborating with medical staff and leadership.

Pay Range

$70720.00-$115627.20 Salary

At Lurie Childrens we are committed to competitive and fair compensation aligned with market rates and internal equity reflecting individual contributions experience and expertise. The pay range for this job indicates minimum and maximum targets for the position.
