Job Summary

Work Flexibility: Hybrid

What You Will Do

  • Accounting & Reporting: Own financial reporting for assigned entities ensuring reconciliations and documentation comply with Strykers corporate finance policies.
  • Month-End & Year-End Close: Lead your team through timely and accurate completion of closing activities and corporate reporting requirements.
  • Balance Sheet Reviews: Perform regular reviews resolve misstatements and implement corrective actions to maintain accuracy.
  • Audit Coordination: Partner with internal and external auditors to ensure audit objectives are met and action plans implemented.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Maintain and monitor effective internal control systems to comply with SOX 404 anti-bribery regulations and company policies.
  • People Management: Supervise coach and mentor accountants setting goals providing feedback and supporting professional development.
  • Project Management: communication across different departments ability to evaluate existing processes identify inefficiencies and drive sustainable improvements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as escalation point for accounting teams and business partners providing guidance and solutions to accounting requests.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive simplification standardization and process enhancements across financial reporting and compliance activities.

What You Need

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Business Administration Accounting Finance or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years managerial or supervisory experience in a multinational company or auditing firm (Big Four preferred).
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and internal control frameworks.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Accounting Standards: Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS standards
  • Systems Knowledge: Familiarity with JDE and Hyperion
  • Certification: Professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent).
  • Leadership Competencies: Ability to prioritize effectively motivate teams resolve conflicts and perform under pressure with integrity and professionalism.

Travel Percentage: 10%
