Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our data team and lead the development and implementation of advanced statistical models and machine learning this role you will work closely with a small team of data professionals driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will take part in end-to-end data science projects from planning and development to execution ensuring timely delivery aligned with business goals.

This is a high-impact role requiring strategic thinking deep technical expertise and strong business communication skills. Your contributions will help shape the organizations data strategy and promote a culture of curiosity ownership and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to the development of machine learning models and statistical analyses.
Guide a team of data professionals on best practices and project execution.
Translate complex business problems into data science solutions.
Work cross-functionally to gather requirements develop models and communicate results.
Build pipelines for data cleaning preparation and transformation.
Apply advanced analytics techniques including deep learning natural language processing and image recognition.
Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders using effective data storytelling.
Promote best practices in data science coding standards and experimentation.

Qualifications :

Must-Have Skills:

Strong expertise in Python and SQL
Proficiency in statistics and applied data science techniques
5 years of hands-on experience in data science or related fields
Proven experience in launching and executing full-cycle data science projects
Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members
Strong understanding of ML/AI methodologies

Good-to-Have Skills:

Experience in text analytics image recognition graph analysis or deep learning
Familiarity with distributed computing tools like Hadoop Hive Kafka MapReduce
Experience with cloud platforms and tools:
- Azure (Azure ML Azure Databricks Azure Data Lake Storage)
- Apache Spark Git Jupyter Notebooks
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
Programming knowledge beyond Python: R PySpark C JavaScript SAS Excel
Familiarity with version control and CI/CD pipelines
