This is a short-term contractual position.
Specifically you will be responsible to:
providing assistance to the Principal Investigator in planning managing and conducting research project by determining theoretical aspects of problem and selecting method of approach
field sampling of families with genetic disorders conducting experiments devising instrumentation and techniques to record and collect test results
tabulating and correlating data compiled in research and interpreting the results
preparing write up of results manuscripts of paper presentations and research proposals
providing assistance to students and lab staff in setting up and conducting laboratory sessions
Requirements:
a minimum of MPhil or equivalent degree in human genetics Biotechnology Molecular Biology from an HEC recognized or foreign university
working knowledge and skills in laboratory techniques
ability to multi-task several projects
excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
