This requisition is for a locally hired position in Neu Isenburg. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.

Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for designing and implementing Technology and Product Innovations Research long term strategies for Digital Airplane
Driving future technology concepts internally across organizational boundaries
Navigating operationally and strategically and within a high performing team environment
Conducts original research and development (R&D) of advanced computing technologies.
Contributes to the research strategy for the organization.
Identifies assesses and ensures successful deployment of emerging computing technology.
Performs comparative analysis cost-benefit analysis and trade studies to evaluate and recommend technology.
Determines expertise needed for customer solutions and leads the consulting team.
Development and review of R&D proposals
Forecasts computational needs and capabilities
Influences program decision makers to use appropriate computational tools and processes
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
PHD from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science or related
In-depth Aviation Knowledge - strong understanding of the fundamental principles of flight aerodynamics aircraft systems and related disciplines
15 yrs plus experience in aviation industry digital research and innovation leading projects teams communications of strategies and principles to internal mid- and Sr-Level stakeholders

MBSE (Model Based Engineering) skills
