Do you want to make a difference and be part of the Peer Recovery Movement For the past 30 years Massachusetts Organization for Addiction Recovery (MOAR) has been organizing recovering individuals families and friends into a collective voice educating the public about the value of recovery from alcohol and other addictions. MOAR envisions a society where addiction is treated as a significant public health issue and recovery is recognized as valuable to our communities.
Job Summary
The Regional Coordinators will represent MOAR in their respective regions working with the recovery community and other partners. They will create Action for Recovery Teams (ARTs) by engaging new members sustaining current members and developing volunteer opportunities. The coordinators will facilitate meetings support training and guide peer supportive activities. They will maintain the organizational mission and values through all related projects. They will also ensure inclusivity and diversity in the peer to peer network.
What you will be doing to make a difference
Schedule: This position allows for a hybrid model schedule with some work in the office and community. The schedule will vary based on meetings and events. There are times that evening and weekend will be required.
