The Y&i Program is inviting a compassionate energetic individual to join our team in supporting neurodiverse youth ages 1018. In this role youll help create spaces where young people can form lasting friendships build confidence enjoy new experiences and feel a sense of belonging within their community.
You will also cover in our Back on Track Program from 1:00pm - 3:00pm supporting students in a safe space to complete homework and create and achieve goals for their education.

- Assisting Program Facilitators with implementing group program plans daily activities and one-to-one support in accordance with YMCA standards and program expectations
- Participating in planning with individuals based on their interests needs and the familys goals
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all members participants staff and property at all times

- Relevant education or education in progress (degree diploma or certificate) and/or experience working with children and/or youth
- Experience working with children & youth with exceptionalities an asset
- Excellent work ethic communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion to help youth achieve their full potential through purposeful programming and implementation
- A high regard for Child Safeguarding practices
*This role will start mid-June if candidates onboarding is completed.
PART TIME HOURS (20 Hours a week)
Monday - Thursday 1:00pm - 6:00pm
Wage: $24.91/hr *if you have the required experience and education.
