Job Description
**This is a 30-hour/week position**
We areseeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level General Engineer to support the design documentation and testing of mechanical systems in support of small unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) development. This position offers the opportunity to contribute across multiple phases of a rapid prototyping lifecycle including engineering documentation hardware/software testing and quality control. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong self-management technical adaptability and clear communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and documentation of mechanical components and assemblies for sUAS platforms.
- Participate in engineering team meetings design reviews and technical discussions.
- Support software and hardware test activities including data collection and documentation of results.
- Conduct and document quality control procedures in coordination with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Become proficient in engineering data and inventory management tools and workflows.
- Apply mathematical reasoning and data analysis techniques to support engineering activities.
- Support engineering report generation and presentation development using MS Office tools.
