As an Associate I in the Home Lending team you play a key role in delivering outstanding service and connecting customers to the right lending solutions. You engage with potential clients assess their needs and facilitate seamless transitions to our Home Lending Advisors. You help us grow our business while ensuring every client interaction is positive and compliant. Join us to build strong partnerships and make a difference in our customers lives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct strategic outbound calls to assess home lending needs and promote financial products
  • Manage and prioritize leads across multiple campaigns for maximum engagement
  • Perform initial assessments and pre-screen customers for lending solutions
  • Facilitate warm transfers to Home Lending Advisors for application completion
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams partners and customers
  • Communicate in real time to support customer and team needs
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
  • Adhere to call monitoring and scorecard performance standards
  • Navigate advanced computer systems to support the lending process
  • Provide helpful empathetic positive customer interactions.

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of voice customer service experience in a call center environment
  • Excellent written verbal communication skills and demonstrates helpfulness empathy and a positive attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word) and able to work with multiple applications
  • Strong problem-solving listening and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Willingness to take on new tasks as business needs change
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced adaptable environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong adherence to compliance regulations
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Experience utilizing priority reports call reviews or loan origination systems

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelors degree
  • Experience with high-touch clients
  • Exposure to home lending or financial services
  • Familiarity with automated lending programs and software
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Experience supporting a winning team culture
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities

This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. As such an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMCs review of your criminal conviction history credit report information available through NMLS and any other information relevant to a determination by JPMC that you demonstrate financial responsibility good character and general fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position. Your continued employment in this position would be contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.

In addition this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. As such upon active employment with JPMorgan Chase you will be required to either register on NMLS or to update your existing registration as necessary to grant access to and reflect your employment with JPMorgan Chase. Your continued employment in this position with JPMorgan Chase is contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act including successful registration immediately after your start date and timely completion of annual renewal and required updates thereafter.

You are required to undergo a screening process and fingerprinting. A valid Drivers License or Passport will be required together with an NBI clearance (validity should cover at least 6 months from initial interview date).

Any information obtained during the registration update and renewal processes or through NMLS notifications may impact your employment with the firm. Any of the completed information you provide during the Chase on-line application process may be transferred on your behalf to NMLS by JPMorgan Chase.
