ATCOs Australian operations are headquartered in Perth Western Australia and specialise in creating innovative customer focused energy and infrastructure solutions. ATCO owns and operates Western Australias largest gas distribution network with more than 800000 connection points and 14500km of pipelines.
You will join us as an Instrumentation and Analytics Engineer on a full-time basis at our Jandakot office; you will be part of a team responsible for the design and performance of electrical monitoring equipment used on the gas distribution network as well as gain exposure to some of our exciting electrical activities relating to Solar Battery storage and hydrogen production which form ATCOs Clean Energy Innovation Hub.
What you will do:
- Provide technical support for gas metering systems and integrate instrumentation into data acquisition systems
- Develop interpretation and maintaining of technical drawings including P&IDs and Loop Diagrams.
- Analyse and troubleshoot telemetry equipment to improve measurement accuracy
- Perform engineering calculations related to temperature pressure and flow
- Program and maintain remote telemetry systems using proprietary software
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with safety and regulatory systems
- Support investigations and uphold safety standards in line with HSE objectives
Exposure & Experience:
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical & Electronics or Instrumentation & Control Engineering (Advanced Diploma/Postgraduate also encouraged)
- Experience or strong interest in instrumentation software and communications
- Proficient in IT systems especially Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and reporting skills
- Excellent communication customer service and teamwork abilities
- EEHA qualifications and or experience desirable but not essential
