Job Summary

Genie Retail Energy is a growing energy supplier servicing its customers through several brands across many states that is looking to expand its offering to include certain non-energy home-related products and services.

We are currently seeking a self-organized Channel Manager to join our Sales Team. The ideal candidate must be dynamic self-motivated assertive goal-oriented and a team player. They must possess a strong professional work ethic as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working within a dynamic ever-changing and challenging environment. The individual must have strong organizational skills to support the daily functions of the sales team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and vetting potential Door-to-Door teams that will sell Genies non-energy products and services
  • Implement channel marketing plans by the marketing team.
  • Working closely with sales teams within the channel partner to train and advise on opportunities.
  • Achieving sales profitability and partner recruitment objectives may include:
    • Team motivation
    • The rollout of new products services programs incentives policies and/or procedures and some training
    • Coordination of some partner recruitment activities
    • Spending time in the field with partner sales managers and other resources
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner
  • Manage the tracking of proposals contracts and reports on a daily basis
  • Organize and prepare for weekly Sales Team meetings

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience as a sales management or other sales leadership
  • Preferred to have experience working for an energy supplier or home-related services provider
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales goals
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have the ability to multi-task manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
  • Must be organized and detailed oriented
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word Outlook Excel
