OurSystems Commissioning & Performance (SC&P)Group plays a critical role in shaping how we deliver on that promise. Were now looking for aHealth Partnerto join our Health Partnerships team with strong mental health expertise to help us drive strategic outcomes across the health sector.

About the role M te tranga mahi

This is a strategic and relationship-driven role where youll work across ACC and the wider health sector to influence service delivery and improve health outcomes particularly in the mental health space.

Youll manage and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies professional associations and peak health organisations. Youll also lead and support strategic initiatives that align with ACCs priorities with a focus on mental health services and sector development.

This role requires someone confident in navigating complex high-stakes conversations at senior levels including with executive leaders and external partners.

About you Mu

Youll bring a mix of clinical and strategic expertise ideally with a strong background in mental health. Youre comfortable operating at a senior level and have the confidence to challenge thinking and influence direction in complex environments.

You will also bring:

  • A clinical qualification and/or tertiary qualification the mental health field.
  • Proven experience in the mental health sector ideally with strategic or commissioning responsibilities.
  • Strong understanding of the New Zealand health system and its mental health landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence strategic initiatives and sector-wide change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage in challenging conversations at senior levels.
  • Experience managing key stakeholder relationships across government health and regulatory bodies.
  • A proactive adaptable approach and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to represent ACC at sector events and forums.

In addition to this you will be able to effectively demonstrate the following:

  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly manner and a can-do attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal relationship building networking and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to work closely in teams and handle and mediate conflict.
  • Willingness to learn and lead initiatives for service and sector development.
  • Able to lead initiatives and projects that make a difference for our clients.

The appointing salary range for this role is $101287-$119161 we offer an additional 9% superannuation contribution. with appointment depending on skills and experience.
