The Consulting Engineers (CE) primary role is to partner within Sales and other departments to achieve sales and revenue goals. This role blends deep Apple ecosystem expertise with advanced security knowledge across endpoint protection identity management and network security enabling you to design and deliver integrated enterprise solutions that drive innovation and support our customers beyond traditional device management. You will collaborate closely with Sales Product and Marketing teams as well as industry partners to deliver secure scalable and innovative solutions for enterprise environments.
This role if offered as remote in Australia. You may be required to work periodically at a Jamf office or collaborative work location with other Jamf employees in your area for certain events or moments that matter. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Australia and have Permanent Residency or Citizenship to live and work in Australia. #LI-Remote
What you can expect to do in this role:
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with the core values mission and vision of the organization
- Provide technical consultation and technical escalation for Sales and other departments
- Continuously update expertise and demonstrate deep understanding of subject matter specific to role assignment including but not limited to
- Architecture of Jamfs comprehensive platform solutions
- Architecture of Apple-centric zero-trust network frameworks
- Architecture of Apple-centric security frameworks for enterprise environments
- Architecture of advanced Jamf configurations including automation frameworks and API integrations
- Custom workflows and automation for large-scale enterprise deployments
- Respond to complex RFPs requiring comprehensive Apple enterprise expertise
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations for enterprise prospects and customers
- Collaborate with Sales Professional Services and Product teams to architect custom Apple enterprise solutions spanning management endpoint security and network security
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and complementary solution providers (Apple Microsoft CrowdStrike Zscaler Okta)
- Provide internal training and knowledge transfer on Apple enterprise best practices and emerging capabilities
- Create implementation templates automation tools and methodologies for Apple enterprise deployments
- Serve as an escalation point for Sales Marketing and Product teams on Apple enterprise matters
- Represent Jamf as an Apple enterprise expert at industry events conferences and community forums
- Drive innovation initiatives to address gaps in current solutions or where no solution exists
- Special projects assigned by management
- Active participation in professional development opportunities and industry training
- Understand cross-platform integration scenarios and coexistence strategies in enterprise environments.
What we are looking for:
- Secondary/high school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- 4 Year / Bachelors degree (or equivalent qualification) in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (Preferred)A combination of professional relevant experience and education may be considered
- Jamf Certifications(Preferred)
- Commitment to maintaining current certifications and pursuing emerging technology education
- Understanding of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to enterprise IT environments (e.g. GDPR HIPAA ISO SOC2)
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Apple device management endpoint and/or network security (Required)
- Advanced knowledge of Apple Enterprise Management technologies endpoint protection identity management and zero-trust network architectures (Required)
- Advanced knowledge of the IT ecosystem integrations with common tools and solutions (Preferred)
- Advanced knowledge of the Jamf products and solutions
- Advanced knowledge of emerging technologies (AI/ML Apple Intelligence) and their enterprise applications
- Advanced knowledge of key partner integrations/complementary solutions including but not limited to Apple Okta Microsoft CrowdStrike Zscaler SIEM/SOAR etc
- API scripting automation and Infrastructure as Code expertise and related languages such as Go Python PowerShell bash Terraform Ansible (Preferred)
- Familiarity with Apple developer languages such as Swift SwiftUI Objective-C Apple SDKs and Xcode (Preferred)
- Experience responding to RFPs and developing comprehensive solution proposals
- Strong workshop and facilitation skills to align technical and business stakeholders
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes for executives and decision-makers
- Experience identifying solution gaps ability to propose innovations and execute subsequent implementation strategies
- Active participation in the Apple enterprise community (conferences forums user groups thought leadership)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfortable engaging with a wide range of personnel from technical to executive positions
- Ability to travel for customer visits conferences or internal events approximately 25% of the year

- Participation in ongoing security training is mandatory.
- Established security protocols will be adhered to sensitive data will be handled responsibly and data protection practices are followed including understanding relevant privacy regulations and reporting breaches.
