The opportunity

As our Consultant youll be joining our Tax Technology and Transformation (TTT) team which takes a holistic approach to technology and transformation. The team leverages enterprise and innovative technologies to deliver practical solutions to clients.

This is a hybrid position based in Naarm - Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Your key responsibilities

• Providing a service to some of the worlds largest corporations in response to the impact of existing and emerging technology including the growing data burden that many businesses face;
• Help businesses navigate the digital age alongside new trends in tax compliance and tax audit methods;
• You will also have the opportunity to assist in implementing tax technology projects such as:

• Intelligent Automation solutions;
• Enterprise technology project for Tax (i.e ERP and Enterprise performance management EPM tools - e.g. Tagetik SAP PaPM Anaplan Oracle TRCS OneStream)
• Tax governance solutions (usually based on Microsoft SharePoint)
• Tax analytics and reporting enhancement including direct and indirect tax systems implementation and configuration;
• Tax operating model transformation
• Tax Generative AI use cases

Skills and attributes for success

• 3 years of similar professional experience in a consulting or corporate environment;
• A degree in Finance Accounting Technology Information Systems Computer Science or related field;
• Experience working in a tax compliance role
• Business analysis skills
• Familiarity with Tax Technology tools and platforms data analysis software (Power BI Tableau) automation capabilities (Alteryx) Microsoft Power Platform SharePoint or programming languages (JavaScript Python SQL);
• A natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work;
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player working harmoniously with diverse teams to achieve shared objectives.
