The Office of the Clerk is accepting applications for an OPS Calendar Assistant. This is full-time temporary employment during the legislative session (January 5 2026 through March 13 2026).
Examples of Work Performed
The Calendar Assistant is responsible for filing documents data entry maintaining member and committee/subcommittee files and helping with publications and various projects.
The Calendar Assistant must also be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks within a time-sensitive and demanding environment sometimes requiring staff to be available to work more than 40 hours a week (and after normal business hours) without prior notice.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of administrative principles and practices.
Proficient computer skills.
Research skills.
Ability to perform general office duties
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to effectively communicate with others.
Ability to visually review computer documents and other printed material making corrections either in writing or electronically.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma and 2 years of secretarial and/or clerical experience. College education can substitute at the rate of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours for each year of required work experience.
