Job Overview:
As a Cafeteria Assistant youll support daily meal preparation and service for students and staff. Youll also play a key role in keeping the kitchen and dining area clean safe and compliant with all food safety standards.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Shifts range between 6:00 AM and 2:30 PM depending on school assignment
No evenings weekends or major holidays
Responsibilities:
Assist with preparing and portioning food for breakfast and lunch
Serve meals to students and staff in a fast-paced environment
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen serving area and dishroom
Wash trays utensils and food prep surfaces
Take out trash and follow sanitation procedures
Support the cafeteria team and take direction from kitchen leads
Requirements:
Dependable and punctual
Comfortable working on your feet and moving quickly
Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Must pass a background check and meet school health requirements
