Job Description
* Works closely with project engineers.
* Produces plan & profile drawings perspective drawings overlays base drawingsmap and illustrations using AutoCAD. Prepares quantities and cost estimates.
* May be expected to design portions of a project.
* Makes calculations using engineering formulas & skills.
* Use catalogs to specify items where original design is not required.
* Instructs drafters how to reduce designs into completed drawings.
* Performs research and writes reports.
* Perform research and writes opinions.
* Use computer to run standard programs in order to solve engineering problems
* May write special programs to resolve unusual engineering problems.
* Must be familiar with computer-aided design.
