Job Summary

School Psychologist -Contract

Location: Brattleboro VT 05301

Responsibilities:

  • Work with multi-disciplinary teams to administer psychological/psycho-educational tests

  • Translate assessment results into empirically-based decisions about service delivery and evaluate outcomes of services

  • Implement and assess the effectiveness of appropriate instructional interventions to meet students needs

  • Develop comprehensive evaluation outcomes to determine special education eligibility and define student learning needs

  • Support IEP and EPT teams in communicating evaluation outcomes with parents/families

  • Collaborate with other professionals within the schools Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) to support specialized learning outlined in the IEP

  • Evaluate students with low-incidence disabilities and autism spectrum disorders

  • Support and implement District policies regulations procedures and administrative directives

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • School Psychologist licensure in state of VT

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience

  • Experience and training assessing Autism is preferred but not required.
