Job Description
Cascade Christian Schools a high-quality independent interdenominational school systemis accepting applications for a childcare breaker at our Puyallup Early Learning Center. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement predetermined lesson plan and manage the classroom while the teacher is on break
- Maintain a nurturing Christian environment in the classroom
- Facilitate activities that meet the group and individual needs of students
- Promote educational progression of students
REQUIREMENTS:
- Agrees with Cascade Christian SchoolsTeaching StatementandStatement of Faith.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Flexible to assist in classrooms as needed
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Able to work with a variety of students of ages
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Ability to attend job-related activities during non-work hours (compensated)
- Prefer a minimum one-year certification or two years of experience in Early Childhood Education
- Willingness to meet CPR/Current First Aid and other regulatory requirements
- Willingness to obtain CDA coursework
- Demonstrate an attitude of support and encouragement
WORK HOURS:
Monday through Friday7:00am - 3:30 pm
Start Date:
September 2 2025
SALARY RANGE:
$18.50-$21.75
