Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Android SDET with a strong background in Kotlin to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and executing automated tests for our Android applications ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for Android applications using Kotlin.
- Develop and maintain test scripts for functional regression and performance testing.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Identify record and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
- Perform manual testing when necessary to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to mobile testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in software testing with a focus on Android applications.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and experience with Android SDK.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Espresso JUnit or UI Automator.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools.
- Knowledge of mobile application security testing.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
