SCM Core Manufacturing & Asset Management engineering team is seeking a highly motivated Associate Architect/Senior developer to drive technical design and architecture for one critical subarea in Asset Management.

What youll do:

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams mentor and guide engineers and drive innovation to deliver high-quality scalable and robust software solutions

• Leadership: Lead at least one product standard at Asset Management level aligned with business goals and reliability requirements. Provide guidance to development teams together with building high quality code ensuring adherence to architectural best practices and product standards.
• Innovation: Stay at the forefront of technological advancements in AI BDC and drive the innovation culture in the team to deliver compelling value proposition to the customers.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Central Architecture Product Management UX/UI Quality Assurance.
• Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• System Design & Quality: Architect complex software systems ensuring performance security and scalability needs are met. Review the designs for functional topics as published in the semester plan. Establish and enforce coding standards and engineering best practices through thorough code reviews.

• Mentorship: Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
• Execution: Work with EPT triad (development manager product manager UX ) and other architects to ensure that all applicable NFRs and foundational requirements for Asset Management area are rolled out to the EPT.

What youll bring

• Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent experience with 12 years of overall relevant professional experience.
• Experience with Application Development with relation to at least one Supply Chain domains (PLM Supply Chain Planning Manufacturing Logistics Asset Management) will be preferred.
• Proven track record of successful contribution to projects/products on the cloud.
• Good experience in the design development and delivery of cloud software at scale.
• Passion & ambition for future-proof architecture design.
• Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to balance conflicting interests.
• Business acumen; combining technical vision with business insights.

Skills

• Ability to demonstrate expertise in S/4 HANA architecture guidelines tools & frameworks North Star architecture CPA guidelines Clean Core Product Standards
• Sound understanding of Object-Oriented Programming Principles Design Patterns.
• Solid foundation with relational database & PL/SQL.
• Hands on experience with RESTful APIs (RAP) Web services ABAP CDS
• Hands on experience with SAP Fiori Development
• Experience with SAP Build SAP Joule Agent Builder SAP AI Core SAP BTP will be an advantage.
• Exhibit familiarity with Agile methodologies coding standards and Test-Driven Development (TDD) including unit testing component testing contract testing and end-to-end test automation.

• Hands on experience on S/4 HANA Integration architecture Event driven architecture Identity and Authorization Management concepts.
• Understand lean development infrastructure processes including Git Jenkins etc. and have exposure to Continuous Delivery and DevOps practices. Familiarity with CILTS will be an added advantage.
• Experience with S/4 HANA Analytics Data extraction SAP BW/BI would be preferred
