Part-Time Maximum term (ASAP to 30 June 2026)

CatholicCare Tasmania is the primary social services agency of the Catholic Church across Tasmania. We have 60 years experience delivering a wide range of services and support to improve individual family and community wellbeing. Our services are available open to all with a particular focus on families young people and children.
The opportunity
CatholicCare Tasmania is seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Programs Case worker to join our dedicated team in Hobart. This part-time maximum-term role offers the opportunity to work with children young people and families through outreach case management. Services include Family Preservation Family restoration (Pathway Home Program) and Parent and Child-focused group programs.
The Family Programs Case Worker:
The role is grounded in a child-centred family-focused strengths-based approach prioritising safety well-being and amplifying the voices of children. Relationship-based practice is central to the programs model.
About you (Selection Criteria)
As the Family Programs Case Worker you will hold tertiary qualifications in Social Work Psychology Allied Health or a related field or possess equivalent experience with knowledge of child development and trauma.
