Animator
Reach Game Studios is looking for a talented arnimatorto work onthe studios upcoming FPS RPG GLORY.
Responsibilities:
As an animatoryou will be responsible for:
- Working with Designers and Artists to shape the key requirements for animations.
- Working with the Programmers and Engineersto ensure animations meet technical engine requirements.
- Working within small multi-disciplinary teams focused on related tasks.
- Rigging andanimating characters (bi-pedal quad-pedal and beyond!)and other 3D models as required paying close attention to technical requirements whilst producing high-quality animations.
- Importing animations in-engine and using engine tools to create animation trees.
- Working with your team to develop and designproven methodologies for creating and importing animations.
- Collaborating with Artistsas required to achieve desired outcomes.
Requirements:
For this rolewe are looking for:
- A showreel demonstrating experience in rigging and animating (no prior shipped titles are required for this position).
- Familiarity with the UnrealEngine and its animation pipelines preferred but not essential.
- Thorough knowledge of Autodesk Maya and other 3D/animation software and pipelines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent team-workingand leadership skills.
- A passion for videogames science fiction RPGs and/or shooters preferred.
Remuneration:
The position is currently a contract royalty-based position with view to full-time employment post-launch. Contract amount iscompetitive and negotiable.
