The Role: Senior 2D Spine Animator
As a Senior 2D Spine Animator you will play a key role in transforming static art into polished dynamic animations that captivate players. Youll be responsible for rigging and animating characters symbols and UI elements using Spine 2D ensuring smooth integration with game engines and optimised performance across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Animate characters symbols and UI elements at a senior/technical level using Spine 2D
- Implement animations for seamless integration into game engines
- Create both stylised and realistic animations depending on project needs
- Optimise assets for file size and performance in online/mobile environments
- Collaborate with artists designers and developers to maintain cohesive visual quality
- Contribute to rigging workflows advanced Spine features and technical animation solutions
- Maintain structured well-documented files for smooth team handovers
About You
- 5 years of experience as a Spine 2D Animator preferably in iGaming/online casino games
- Strong portfolio showcasing polished casino/iGaming animations
- Deep understanding of animation principles timing and visual polish
- Experience with technical implementation and exporting animations into production pipelines
- Skilled in asset optimisation for performance
- Proficient in English (written and spoken) with clear communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
- Experience with Photoshop Illustrator After Effects and related tools
- South African citizen comfortable working remotely in UK hours
