Job Description

Position Title: Ultrasound Technologist Breast Imaging
Location: North Bergen NJ 07047
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) Local or Travel
Pay: $2000 $2200/week

Overview:
Seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract in a Breast Center. The role involves performing diagnostic breast ultrasounds assisting with ultrasound-guided procedures and ensuring high-quality imaging to support patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and complex breast ultrasound exams

  • Assist with procedures (biopsies aspirations)

  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment

  • Ensure accurate image quality and documentation (PACS EPIC)

  • Support patient care and comfort using AIDET principles

  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols

Requirements:

  • RDMS certification (required)

  • CPR certified

  • 2 years experience in breast imaging

  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program

  • Strong knowledge of anatomy scanning protocols and equipment use

Preferred:

  • Additional breast imaging certifications
