EXP is currently searching for a Senior Project Manager in the Raleigh North Carolina area. The environment is fast-paced and growth oriented ideally suited for individuals who like to manage and grow business; develop client relationships; Someone with a strong professional background in civil engineering driven to build on current successes.
EXPs NG Sector are industry leaders in the design and project management of aviation municipal industrial commercial transit and institutional development projects offering a full range of engineering investigations consulting construction administration inspection program and project management services for private clients municipal provincial and federal agencies.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
- Providing project management and task coordination for various Roadway Drainage and water resource projects
- Defining project scope schedules and budgets
- Collaborate with internal EXP teams across disciplines focusing on a cohesive One EXP approach.
- Develop and nurture relationships with clients from various sectors including public and private entities architecture planning and government agencies.
- Take full ownership of the successful delivery of medium to large-scale land development and infrastructure projects overseeing all stages from planning and design to approvals construction and maintenance.
- Manage project scope budget and schedule ensuring projects (with values up to $100 million) are completed on time and within budget.
- Work collaboratively with business development and market sector leaders to identify prioritize and successfully capture top line pursuits
- Apply strong civil design knowledge working closely with the senior design team to ensure smooth execution of the design tendering contract administration field inspections and post-construction phases.
- Supervise a multidisciplinary project team including design engineers drafters surveyors field supervisors and inspectors as part of EXPs comprehensive service delivery model
What your experience looks like
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering environmental science water resource management or a related field. A masters degree or professional certifications
- Professional Engineer designation in North Carolina required
- Familiarity with local state and federal water resource regulations and compliance requirements.
- A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and land development.
- Extensive experience in water resource management including leadership roles.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater systems hydrology environmental regulations and sustainable practices.
- Demonstrated expertise in civil design including stormwater management with a solid foundation in Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices.
- Proven track record in personnel management business development client management project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with AutoCAD particularly Civil 3D is an asset.
- Experience in preparing contract documents specifications and contract administration.
