Job Description

Associate Supervisor - Value Added Services

Based in Venlo the Associate Supervisor VAS leads and coordinates the team in the preparation and execution of the assembly of medical cots and the kitting of AED devices while ensuring efficient workflows and optimal use of warehouse space.

What will you do:

Warehouse Operations & Compliance:

  • Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with other departments and divisions to support integrated supply chain efforts.
  • KPI Monitoring: Contribute to monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) within designated areas.
  • Customer Interaction: Interact with customers as needed assisting in addressing comments and feedback
  • Warehouse Layout and Design: Assist with implementing layout and equipment recommendations provided by the Operations Manager to support business growth and efficiency.

Process Adherence & Standardization:

  • Operational Support: Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure they meet required service levels and quality standards.
  • SOP Adherence: Support the maintenance of warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in alignment with ISO13485 under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
  • Compliance Assistance: Help ensure compliance with local regulations related to health & safety regulatory and hazardous materials as well as internal policies and procedures.
  • Resource Assistance: Support peers in resource management including employee and equipment coordination.

Floor Execution & Efficiency:

  • LEAN Principles: Learn and support LEAN initiatives within the warehouse with a focus on 6S and continuous improvement.
  • Adaptation Support: Adapting warehouse operations to changes requested by customers or shifts in product mix.
  • Performance Tracking: Participate in employee engagement and development surveys staffing and performance reviews.

Team Support & Skill Development:

  • Provide support in strengthening the operational foundation.
  • Support staff training on safety and compliance matters.
  • Learn and contribute to best practice procedures and processes.

Managerial Assistance & Cross-Team Collaboration:

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Operations Manager and team members to facilitate a positive work environment.
  • Team Development Initiatives and Coaching.

What you need:

Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of applicable professional experience ideally in a Supervisor position.
  • At least secondary vocational education; a Bachelors degree is preferred
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with WMS preferable Oracle and/or SAP

Preferred:

  • LEAN experience/certification ideally with 6S and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Dutch and or German.
  • Knowledge about ISO13485
