We provide administration services to more than 180 clients across all alternative asset classes.
As a member of the Private Fund Services (PFS) Product team you will assist with the governance strategic direction and definition of the private markets fund administration product. You will also become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the private markets fund business offering thought leadership and guidance on all product aspects of the this role you will collaborate closely with our business partners in Operations Risk Technology Product Development Compliance and Sales/Relationship Management.
Job Responsibilities
Defining and documenting the standard product definition and ensuring the product stays within the agreed product definition
Ensuring the product offering is consistent and aligned with our global fund product offerings across Securities Services
Managing the legal and regulatory landscape to ensure the product conforms to current regulations (and is prepared for future regulations)
Acting as a subject matter expert with our product partners
Working with Sales to define and agree the target profile of prospective clients.
Produce and present marketing materials as well as provide demonstrations of the platform. Coordinate RFP responses and provide pricing proposals for prospective clients.
Working with Operations to ascertain deal solutions and target operating models
Negotiate legal contracts within agreed parameters of the bank
Develop strategic relationships with key client decision-makers and act as the point of contact/escalation for large relationships. Conduct monthly service meetings and present to client boards on behalf of the administrator.
Managing the product profit and loss at a client level and identify operational inefficiencies and additional service opportunities
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
Specific experience with private markets fund administration and/or operations
Knowledge of the private markets fund space
Ability to manage to tight deadlines with a mindset for flexibility
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A pragmatic problem solver and out-of-the box analytical thinker capable of challenging the operating norm and making recommendations
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information prioritize business goals and drive results with a high sense of urgency and attention to detail
Ability to generate support from a wide-range of stakeholders and create a strong network of relationships among peers and internal partners
