Childcare Custodian

All Around Children is currently accepting applications for a Custodian to add to our growing team at our Gold (SUTQ) NAC-accredited childcare and preschool center in Middlefield Ohio.

In this role you will support the center in various tasks. Your responsibilities will include daily weekly and monthly cleaning schedules including but not limited to classrooms office areas bathrooms storage areas outdoor playgrounds and entrances.

We offer competitive pay ranging from$13.00 to $16.00 per hour(depending on experience and credentials) in addition to an industry-leading benefits package underscoring our commitment to attracting and retaining top-quality educators and supporting staff members.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting mopping sweeping and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms break rooms classrooms and other common areas.
• Complete routine trash removal.
• Assist with inventory management including ordering and receiving of cleaning supplies.
• Maintain positive relationships with children staff and parents and communicate effectively with all members of the team.
• Attend and participate in professional development and training sessions as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Excellent communication organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Experience in facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Must be able to work evening hours

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Ability to sit stand walk reach stoop kneel and bend for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and/or more up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a moderate to noisy environment
