Job Summary
To ensure that food safety is embedded into the design development and delivery of ice cream processing equipment. The Food Safety Officer will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of food safety processes ensuring compliance with global food safety standards and customer expectations.
The position is based in Aarhus
What you will do
- Food Safety Governance & Compliance
- As the subject matter expert you develop implement and maintain food safety processes and procedures aligned with global standards ensure engineering designs and materials are in compliance
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Mechanical Designers and Product Specialists and
- collaborate with Quality and corporate Food Safety teams across Tetra Pak to ensure alignment on food safety expectations.
- Risk Management & Validation
- Conduct food safety risk assessments for new and existing equipment designs and follow and support root cause analysis and corrective actions for food safety-related issues.
- Provide training and guidance to engineering and project teams on hygienic design and food safety best practices.
- Support internal and external audits including customer inspections and third-party certifications.
We believe you have
Professional skills:
- Degree in Food Science Microbiology Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in food safety within food processing equipment or manufacturing.
- Experience with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points(HACCP) risk assessments and validation protocols.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience within the food / dairy industry is an advantage.
- Familiar with ERP systems (SAP)
- Excellent English and Danish skills both orally and in writing.

- You are a team player who is flexible in his thinking and can create collaboration across the organization both internally and externally.
- You are trustworthy collaborative and contribute to an open forum for knowledge sharing among you and your colleagues.
