At DTU National Food Institute we seek a Research Assistant to conduct laboratory and pilot-scale experiments on dairy and protein the position the candidate will optimize process parameters for melting cheese and spray drying.

Responsibilities and qualifications
The candidate will be:

  • Performing analytical tests (I.e. rheology stability CLSM and proximate analysis) recording and interpreting data and preparing reports.
  • Collaborating closely with researchers students and technical staff.
  • Contributing to project planning discussions and troubleshooting.
  • Ensuring laboratory work complies with safety and quality standards.

As a formal qualification you must have a masters degree in engineering or equivalent.

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.

Starting date is1 February 2026 (or according to mutual agreement). The position is a part-time position 15 hours a week.

The period of employment is 6 months.
